HELP fIND US!

This year, with a #ShopLocal twist! 

HOW IT WORKS:

​

​​

  • Each Fox will have a unique 4 digit code, and be linked to a local business.  You'll earn 1 point each time you correctly match the local business with it's 4 digit code.  


BONUS POINTS:

​​

  • Hunt for errors on the website. Each error you find earns you 1 bonus point. Take a screen capture of all errors, you'll need to send them by email, text, or on social media.

​

  • Errors include typos, formatting issues, dead links, or egregious unsupported claims made by an overly zealous float enthusiast. Grammar corrections considered case by case.

​

  • Share the Fox hunt post on social media for an extra point.


HOW TO WIN & PRIZES:

​

  • The Fox hunter with the highest total points wins at least one FREE FLOAT!

​​

  • Additional prizes based on participation and enthusiasm. Tell your friends, because the more people who play, the more prizes will be won. 

​

  • The Easter Fox Hunt ends on April 6, 2026. Winners will be contacted directly and announced on our social media.

  • Spotting errors early means more chances to earn points before others do. Errors will be fixed as soon as possible which prevents others from getting the point.

​

  • Don't forget the blogs! Look for the 'Float Journal' in the top menu. You'll only find foxes in Julie Turner's blog entries (not Buoy Project blogs).

​

  • Deeper hint, this year only 2/12 foxes are hiding in the Float Journal. 

​

  • Last year oGoFloat upgraded our logo. If you find the old one hiding anywhere it's worth an extra point!
