James Nestor is an author, science journalist, and avid floater. In this talk he shares his research and findings from the newest book he is working on all about the science of breath and the impact it has on the human body.

Rick Doblin is the founder of MAPS, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies. Rick speaks about his own history, and how John Lilly was one of his inspirations for creating MAPS in the first place. Flux is a researcher that has been studying the mechanisms involved in the immune system. In this talk from the 2018 Float Conference, Flux breaks down the biochemical process that happens as we enter the fight or flight stage and how it triggers an immune response. He also presents some of the first data showing how floating might have an impact on this process.

Brian Kroll discovered floating in 2017 and has been an avid floater ever since. He has lived with severe chronic pain for many years, and floating is one of the only things that he has found that provides him with relief. He speaks here at the 2018 Float Conference to share his story.
